Wilderness Celebration Exhibition

The Wilderness Celebration Exhibition is part of the National Wilderness Conference. Hosted at the Albuquerque Convention Center's Northwest Exhibit Hall, it is organized around the six conference tracks to feature diverse representation of organizations embodying:

  • Experience
  • Civic Engagement
  • Science

The exhibition also showcases:

  • The Wilderness Awareness Trail, an interpretive, station-based, education experience for all ages
  • "Wilderness Forever" photography contest winners
  • Peter Kola southwestern desert scene paintings

  • Creativity Forest
  • Wilderness Quilts

Exhibit hall schedule:

  • 10/16/14 - Exhibition is open 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM; open to conference attendees
  • 10/17/14 - Exhibition is open 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM; 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM open to local school children, their teachers and parents; 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM open to the conference attendees
  • 10/18/14 - Exhibition is open 9:00 AM - noon; open to the public and conference attendees
