Travel To and From the Airport

In addition to taxicabs, here are two ways to travel between the airport and the host hotels.

Airport Shuttle
Sunport Shuttle offers service to and from the airport. Average 1-way fare to and from Hyatt is $11.00. For Reservations: 505-883-4966, toll-free 866-505-4966, individual reservations email, group reservations email.

For those staying at the Double Tree by Hilton, there is a free, courtesy bus service. Contact the hotel to make arrangements.

Public Transportation
Visit Albuquerque Transit for download a schedule and plan your ride. Public bus service is $1.00 each way.

Travel To and From Albuquerque

Flying

The conference and associated activities are held in Albuquerque, NM. Participants who are flying must fly into the Albuquerque airport (airport code ABQ). Two airlines are offering discounts on fares to Albuquerque:
  • American Airlines is offering a 5% discount to all conference participants. Use the following discount code when booking on the American Airlines group discount website for flights between October 10th and 23rd: 82H4BW.
  • Delta Airlines is offering a 2-10% depending on Booking Class. Use the following discount code in the event code field when booking online through the Delta website or on the phone with a Delta agent for flights between October 12th and 22nd: NMJKH.

Driving

For those driving, full addresses for the Hyatt Regency (where the conference is held) and the other host hotels are provided above.

For those needing rental cars, Avis is providing discounted rates to conference participants between September 30 and October 28. Call 1-800-331-1600 or reserve your car online by using the Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) Number D017013.

Parking options include:

  • Hyatt Regency (guests only): $16/day with in/out privileges; located off Copper Ave. between 3rd and 4th street
  • Doubletree by Hilton (guests only): $12/day
  • City Parking: hourly rates of $1/30 minutes or $8/day (there is also metered parking on streets)

Driving direction:

From the North:
  • Follow I-25 S to Locust St NE
  • Take exit 224B from I-25 S
  • Take Dr Martin Luther King Jr Ave NE and Marquette Ave NW to Tijeras Ave NW
  • Merge onto Locust St NE
  • Turn right onto Dr Martin Luther King Jr Ave NE
  • Continue onto Marquette Ave NW
  • Turn left onto 5th St NW
  • Turn left on Tijeras- Hyatt Regency Albuquerque is on the right side.
  • To access parking garage continue on Tijeras, turn right on 3rd St. and right on Copper. Garage is located on Copper, to the right hand side of the hotel.
From the South:
  • Exit on Sunport Blvd onto North I-25.
  • Travel I-25 North to Martin Luther King exit 224 B.
  • Turn left on Martin Luther King and travel west to 5th St.
  • Turn left on 5th to Tijeras Ave.
  • Turn left on Tijeras- Hyatt Regency Albuquerque is on the right side.
  • To access parking garage continue on Tijeras, turn right on 3rd St. and right on Copper. Garage is located on Copper, to the right hand side of the hotel.
